Intro

Korean celebrities like Sara Shantelle Lim are embracing one of the hottest new beauty trends, and you might want to try it too. Eyebrow embroidery has become the latest beauty trend in Asia America and Australia, and now it’s finally come to Canada. If you want save time prepping your make up and look fabulous 24 hours a day, cosmetic eyebrow embroidery is for you.

What is Eyebrow Embroidery?

Eyebrow Embroidery is a semi-permanent technique that involves adding colored pigment to the skin. This technique uses a natural feathering of hair-like strokes to fill in empty spots on your brows to give them a full and flawless look even without makeup.

Is this the same as an eyebrow “tattoo”?

Not exactly, although it is very similar. The pigments used in eyebrow embroidery are distilled water based instead of the common oil carrier based pigments that are used to create conventional tattoos. This is why Eyebrow Embroidery is semi-permanent and not permanent.

Eyebrow Embroidery is also safer than a conventional eyebrow tattoo because it is only performed on the surface of the skin.

The color can be adjusted to align with your original eyebrow hair color, which is why we can achieve such a natural look. Eyebrow Embroidery, unlike regular tattoos, does not have a dull, flat look but rather appears three dimensional and thus much more realistic.

Semi-Permanent vs Permanent

Styles and trends change all the time in the world of fashion, so the idea of doing something permanent with your makeup can understandably be a bit scary. But with semi-permanent, you are free to modify the shape of your brows to match the latest trends. You have the flexibility to change your style later if you wish, and you still get the convenience of not having to pencil in your eyebrows every morning. As far as beauty routine choices are concerned, it’s a win-win situation! If you want to continue using your current eyebrow shape, you can just do a “top-up” treatment.

Why choose Eyebrow Embroidery?

You will have a “no makeup face” that will leave your boyfriend in a constant state of awe.

The results will last for up to two years, which means you don’t have to worry about your eyebrows for a very long time. Imagine not having to use an eyebrow pencil every morning!

You can change your brow shape as you age. Why be stuck with one style forever?

We offer a 100% guarantee that your Eyebrow Embroidery will look completely natural.

You can benefit from Eyebrow Embroidery if:

  • Your eyebrow hair is over-plucked
  • You have scars or gaps where your hair has not grown back
  • You are suffering from Alopecia (hair loss), weak or light hair
  • You wish to have your eyebrows shaped a certain way
  • You dislike applying makeup every day

About the Procedure

It is very important to have your Eyebrows Embroidered in two complete visits. The visits are normally 30-60 days apart.

The first visit will usually take about 1 hour. You’ll have a consultation, choose a color tone, and have an initial outline drawn on for your approval. Once you are satisfied with the basic shape and symmetry (faces are not symmetrical, but we create as much symmetry as possible) the area is traced over and permanent pigment is applied. We use a hand-held tool, not a machine, to do this.

The result you end up with depends half on pigment and half on healing. Everyone heals differently so what is effective for one client may not be as effective on another client. This is where the second visit comes in. The second visit is where we correct any irregularities and create a permanent look.

Step 2.

The second stage is the ‘touch up’, and takes about 40 min. Due to the time it takes the pigment to settle into the skin, we usually wait 30-60 days to do this step. It is VITAL for you to complete the touch up treatment. Without it your look will only be half done and won’t have the best possible effect. The process gives the client an opportunity to adjust to the initial finish before a final touch up is applied and the pigment is blended into the skin. This also prevents fading as the color will fade significantly during the first 30 days. This is because the skin will heal, peel, and fade naturally during that time.  During the first 10 days the look will be very defined and will be different from the finished result.

Step 3.

Some clients will require a third visit 30 days after the second visit. This is not unusual. Usually you will only need the initial treatment, followed by the top-up treatment. In rare cases an additional treatment may be required; if this is the case we will inform you before any commitment is made.

Care Instructions

We recommend exfoliating the skin area regularly before your treatments to prevent any buildup of dead skin cells that could prevent the pigment from taking to your skin.

Post-Treatment Care Tips:

  • Don’t wash the area for 24 hours
  • Don’t use exfoliates while your skin heals (7-14 days)
  • Avoid the beach, swimming pools, saunas, and steam rooms while your skin heals (7-14 days)
  • Use aftercare products designed for this procedure (we will recommend the best options for you)

Most people will not need to take any time off work to recover from the procedure. There is rarely any swelling with Eyebrow Embroidery treatments. However some people’s skin is more sensitive than others and occasionally some minor swelling can occur.

How we’re different from the competition

We use a nano plant-derived pigment from Korea to do our eyebrow embroider. Unlike eyebrow embroidery products that are derived from tattoo ink, it will not turn green or blue. We use only top quality nano pigment so your eyebrow embroidery comes out perfect.

Our professional eyebrow expert has been doing this service for more than ten years. She’s so highly skilled that we once had an international customer book a flight to Singapore just so she could do their eyebrows.
